Fundamentals

The Fundamentals program offers an exciting classroom-based, instructor-led educational opportunity for people new to materials and operations management or people working in positions that interact with these fields. Participants gain practical, essential skills that help them become more effective and productive in their jobs. The five-module format of the course teaches basic concepts, techniques, and terminology.

Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

CPIM applies to many supply chain tasks and provides the necessary knowledge to thrive in today's global competitive environment-both in terms of reducing costs and increasing customer loyalty.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

The CSCP program takes a broad view of the field, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain—from the supplier, through the company, to the end consumer—and provides you with the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company’s value chain.
 

Testing

When sufficient demand exists, the Durham and Kawartha Chapters of APICS offer Paper and Pencil (P&P) testing for all people interested in writing certification tests for CPIM.
