Volunteers

Perhaps you wonder why busy professionals would take time to work with an APICS Chapter? Why should you consider volunteering for your chapter?

Where will I find the time?
What will I get out of it?
What about work?
Will it take a lot of my personal time?
These are all questions you have likely asked yourself when considering whether or not to get involved in APICS or any other organization, for that matter.
What will you get out of it?
Consider it as an INVESTMENT in yourself, your career and personal development
Your involvement with the chapter will provide you with the following:

Public Speaking Skills

Leadership Skills. Volunteering will provide you with a testing ground for facilitation, meeting and leadership skills that are highly transferable to the workplace.

Networking. You will develop a vast network of contacts, both personal and professional. You will get an opportunity to interact with people from numerous disciplines and companies.

Friendships. This does not have to be all work. Time is too valuable these days not to have some fun when we are working.

There are numerous opportunities to grow and enjoy yourself along the way. If you are interested in getting involved in any way, please contact us.
